And it takes on an even more alarming dimension when viewed against another significant piece of statistic. A recent survey by research agency Gartner reveals that 43% of organizations are using or plan to implement the Internet of Things in 2016. IoT projects are sprouting like mushrooms after the fresh spring rain. But will these projects go down the rabbit hole? “Yes,” says Ganesh Ramamoorthy, Principal Research Analyst, Gartner. “8 out of 10 IoT projects fail even before they are launched,” he proclaims.
