Cooper Power Systems, a division of Cooper Industries plc (NYSE: CBE), today announced a new contract with Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) to deliver approximately 50 MW of new Demand Response in their Omaha service territories through 2017. OPPD will deploy the Cooper Power Systems Yukon™ Advanced Demand Response Management Enterprise Software  and intelligent load control switches.
