A Cambridge CleanTech company still in stealth mode is going back to the future to create the ‘Internet of Plugged Things.’
Cambridge Smart Grid believes it has solved what has been regarded as an impossible problem in the ‘web over electrical wires’ proposition – creating a smart electric plug that looks like a regular one and costs only pennies more.
Co-founder Jeremy Parsons says the company has also identified a bonus upgrade path that consumers can fit themselves safely – and without a screwdriver.
