Burlington Electric Department (BED) has selected Siemens for the implementation of the eMeter EnergyIP meter data management (MDM) platform. BED sought a meter data management system (MDMS) that could both support its current needs for billing consumers from data acquired by smart meters and be flexible enough to adjust to the functionality designated by Vermont regulators.
