Projects aimed at integrating significant amounts of solar electricity into the nation’s grid continue to be a primary focus of both private and public funding.
U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu has announced that the Department of Energy’s Sandia National Laboratories is investing $8.5 million in four projects that have reached Stage III of the Solar Energy Grid Integration Systems program.
