When it comes to bragging rights, Lincoln City has it in spades. Not only is it situated at the stunning Oregon coast, it’s also emerging as a leader in protecting its natural resources through sustainable and carbon-reducing efforts.

So perhaps it’s not a big surprise that this coastal city successfully completed the NW Natural Smart Energy Challenge, making it the very first Smart Energy City. Today, city and community leaders accepted an award from NW Natural President and CEO, Gregg Kantor, on behalf of Lincoln City Smart Energy participants.
