The Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet is now taking proposals for new so-called smart grid energy distribution projects in the state.
The Cabinet has $2.65-million in stimulus funds to distribute for smart grid proposals. Project director Bob Amato says they’re hoping to fund five or six demonstration projects.
