OSIsoft (www.osisoft.com), provider of the PI System, the industry standard enterprise infrastructure for management of time-series data and events, announced today that the recently published Microsoft Smart Energy Reference Architecture (SERA) includes the PI System.

The event is scheduled for October 4-6, 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Smart Grid Summit is the first event of its kind to address the intersection of two core economic building blocks - utilities and communications. Conference sessions and keynote addresses equip companies building and using the Smart Grid to overcome the same transformational issues that telecom experienced with the advent of IP communications technologies.
