With all the major automakers planning to debut hybrid electric vehicles in the very near future, there is no doubt that electric cars are coming. The new cars will be here before much of the infrastructure is in place – Canadian garages and workplaces will need charging plugs and highway charging stations will have to be built. However, Canada already has all the power it needs to power the new cars and it could be practically free to do so.
