Last week we started a cheat sheet on all of the companies that we’ve heard have applied or are working on applications for some of the $3.4 billion in DOE stimulus funding for the smart grid. These are companies that have told us directly, sent out press releases or been reported by other media to be seeking some of the smart grid stimulus funds. We know it’s not complete as these are only the companies that are publicly discussing their applications. But already that list is up to close to 50 companies, including ones we’ve just added like Southern Company, Southern California Edison, and San Diego Gas & Electric. Here’s the updated list:
